When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent. This helps us detect spam and secure the site.
An anonymized string created from your email (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you use it. Gravatar’s privacy policy is here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval, your profile picture is visible with your comment.
3. MEDIA
If you upload images, avoid embedding location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can extract location info from uploaded images.
4. COOKIES
- If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for convenience. These last 1 year.
- On the login page, we use a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This is discarded when you close your browser.
- Login cookies last 2 days; screen options cookies last 1 year. Selecting “Remember Me” keeps you logged in for 2 weeks. Logging out removes cookies.
- Editing or publishing posts sets an additional 1-day cookie with the post ID (no personal data).
5. EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER WEBSITES
Articles may contain embedded content (videos, images, etc.). Embedded content behaves as if the visitor visited the source site directly. These websites may collect data, use cookies, and track your interaction.
6. WHO WE SHARE DATA WITH
- Password reset requests include your IP address.
- Data may be shared with third-party payment gateways and shipping providers as required for order fulfillment.

- Comments and metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically.
